Chess Tournaments

The Chess Club meets after lunch to polish their skills. These young people take their game very seriously, and served as coaches for their fellow schoolmates at the All School Chess Week.

Members of the Chess Club  have the opportunity to flex their skills at a variety of Chess Competitions sponsored by the United States Chess Federation. In 2010 Micah Rothkopf, grade 2, won his first chess tournament, won all four of his matches and received his first medal! Congratulations Micah!!
