After School Extended Day Program
An extended day program is available to all MWJDS students. From 3:15 – 5:30 Monday – Thursday, when school is in session, children are provided snacks and engaged in relaxed social activities, study hall and interactive games all supervised by MWJDS staff.
Students may join the extended day program on a 2-day ($220/month), 3-day ($260/month) or 4-day ($300/month) basis.
After School Enrichment Programs
In addition to the basic extended programs, there are enrichment programs that are also available to MWJDS students. There is an annual registration fee of $25 per participant in addition to the class fee. Registration fee is waived for children already enrolled in MWJDS Extended Day Program.
Guitar Lessons – Wednesdays
Group lesson at 3:15 – 4:00pm. Private lessons by appointment
Carlton Kish is a professional guitarist who teaches and performs throughout New England. Carlton obtained his Masters Degree in Guitar Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. He is currently on the music faculty at The Fay School, St. John’s Preperatory School, as well as Solomon Schecter Day School.
Class dates: as arranged directly with the instructor.
Tuition: $30 for a 45 minute group lesson. A minimum of 2 students and maximum of 4 students. $30 for a 30 minute private lesson
Art Club – Thursdays 3:15 – 4:15
Grades 2 & up. Join Hamorah Patti for an extra hour of hands on art. Work with a variety of media to create imaginative sculptures such as masks, animals and all kinds of constructions. Students will use clay, paper mache and found objects.
